Web Application Architect
We are currently looking for a senior ASP.NET architect who will lead a team participating in all phases of web development lifecycle. This is a great full time position while working from a home office environment.
This senior position will perform following responsibilities:
- Manage a team of programmers and web projects with effective communications to team members and clients
- Lead the overall architectural design of multiple web applications with an eye on performance and maintainability
- Develop various web applications using C# or VB.NET with MS-SQL servers
- Maintain and modify existing web applications built in ASP and ASP.NET.
- Collect/Exchange data through either web forms or web services or batch processes to enhance databases
- Develop modules/sub-systems to enhance existing web applications
- Research and resolve technical problems arisen from web application development processes
- Build testing procedures and conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits
- Work closely with colleagues, clients and vendors to ensure the release of high quality products on time
- Research new technology or development tools to remain abreast of current technology.
Minimum requirements to qualify for this senior position:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required and Master Degree is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and react quickly in a rapidly changing environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical lead role with full life cycle development
- Minimum 4 years experience in web design/development (with ASP.NET in either C# or VP.NET)
- 3+ years MS-SQL Server design experience along with hands-on expertise in building stored procedures, triggers and table structures
- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter
This senior position requires broad exposure to all aspects of web application programming including design, implementation and testing. The candidate will need to be able to handle multiple projects with effective communications to all parties involved in a web project. Any analytical background is a plus.
